The Wedding of Gaby & Rod

Arriving at the Old Mill on Saturday I felt like all of the pieces for the day were falling perfectly into place. The weather was fantastic, the venue is unique and offers so many picturesque opportunities and the bride and her bridesmaids were completely ready when I arrived. I started with some shots of Gaby and her girls in the bridal suite. Then, as if executing a high risk incognito operation, we moved throughout the inn together trying to avoid Rod and any chance of him catching a glimpse of Gaby before the ceremony. We were 100% successful! Catching a few minutes to head outside we managed to do some casual shots of Gaby, her mother, and her bridesmaids before heading to the chapel. The chapel at the Old Mill is very quaint with candles hanging from the high ceiling and stone walls surrounding the couple offering a very intimate feeling. Following the ceremony the bridal party heading outside to the bridal gardens where I was able to catch shots of the families and bridal party. Gaby and Rod were very easy going and were willing to try anything. It made for a very relaxing afternoon and one which I hope they enjoyed as much as I did. As the bridal party and family went inside to join in on some of the reception cocktails I had the opportunity to stay back with Gaby and Rod for a little while. They were so happy and so comforted to be with one another as husband and wife. I caught some up close and personal pictures of them prior to heading back inside for the reception. They are such a great couple and being able to share in their day was fantastic.
